Bachman Turner Overdrive 에서 중량감있는 하드락사운드를 보여주었고 꽤 성공도 하였으나 리더인 Randy Bachman 은 탈퇴를한다.
그리하여 결성된것이 바로 Ironhorse.
이앨범이 데뷰앨범이고 이듬해 2집을 발표후 81년 해산한다.
